Times have been exciting for the Torpedo Boyz. After winning the American „Independent Music Awards“ in spring of 2009 for their second album „Cum On Feel The Boyz“, they boarded on a extensive tour of China in the summer. Not to mention Kentastic’s DJ shows in Europe, America and Asia.

Now the band is chilling out in their homebase in Berlin, digging for fresh beats and styling mad lyrics while polishing their helmets to get ready for the next round of Torpedo madness. The first teaser of what is to expect now arrives in the disguise of „Back To The Beatz!“.

The first new single in over a year catches up with the theme of the club classic „Gimme A Bassline!“ from the „Headache Music“ album. But as we are moving towards a new decade, Torpedo Boyz get ready for 2010 with a much more meaty, clubby sound. The stylish Indie-Breakbeat crew Torpedotrickser let loose with an additional Balkan-meets-Baile-Funk-Ska flavour, while new faces on the electro scene Hopperider take care of „Back To The Beatz!“ as if „Voodoo Ray“ never happened. Aciiiid!
